Kenya Bankers Association Director Nuru Mugambi has been honoured as a Fellow of the Kenya Institute of Bankers – the FKIB – becoming the youngest banking professional to earn the recognition.

The FKIB designation is the highest honour in the industry and recognises leaders who have made significant contribution to the profession. It also makes one an authoritative voice on banking industry matters.

The post was awarded to Ms Mugambi at the 36th Annual Kenya Institute of Bankers gala dinner held in Nairobi last week. The function was presided over by Central Bank of Kenya Chairman Mohammed Nyaoga.
