Singer Moustapha - Powerful politician was behind my arrest

Monday Blues

Singer Moustapha

A video vixen who appeared twerking in Moustapha’s soon to be released Dodoma Singida video, whose online trailer is causing quite a buzz, is said to be dating a powerful politician – the force rumoured to be behind the singer’s Friday police arrest.

The Lenga Stress star was shocked after police officers stormed into the Ogopa Deejays studios on Friday morning only hours before the planned release of the new somewhat controversial project. They interrogated him before leaving with him in their car to the CID headquarters where he recorded a statement.

They asked me why I was featuring people’s wives in my video and I told them I had not dealt with anyone’s wife but dancers who are believed to be single girls,” Moustapha defended.

Before then, one of the four girls who appear in the video had told me that her boyfriend, a powerful politician from Western Kenya was not amused when he saw a clip of her twerking next to me in the teaser video. She said he had picked my number and since, I suspect he has had people tracking me,” he alleged when MondayBlues called to get the inside story yesterday.

They (police officers) said that I have to edit out the girl before I release the video and asked to know how much I needed to do that. The total cost came to Sh700,000,” Moustapha remarked.

According to the Ogopa Deejays signed singer, there was nothing wrong with him featuring the girl as she signed the contract to appear in the video and was paid her money.

The video was supposed to be out on Friday and I want this settled as soon as possible as my fans are eagerly waiting,” he added.

Asked whether the unnamed politician is willing to re-pay the cash to have the girl edited out of the video, Moustapha said he hopes that gets settled this week “else I will go ahead and release the video that cost me so much”.

The politician in question is a big political name whom Moustapha would not like to get exposed as the video girl has requested to have this get settled away from media glare.
