A man has denied attempting to stab his boss after his salary was allegedly delayed.
The accused, Dickson Munga, reportedly stormed into John Ngugi’s office at around 8am on April 25 armed with a knife.
Police said Munga approached Ngugi, who is the company’s manager, and threatened to stab him if his salary was not wired into his bank account within three hours. The court heard that the accused kept on shouting at the manager, and vowed to track him to his house to teach him an unforgettable lesson.
Security guards and onlookers reportedly restrained the accused and handed him over to the police.
The case will be heard on May 14.
