29-year-old man auctions virginity for Sh98,000 in newspaper ad but gets no takers

ROMANIA: A man who admits he is "no Brad Pitt" auctioned off his virginity via a newspaper advert – and was left flabbergasted by the response to his randy request.

Desperate Seb Ciercies – who is yet to experience bedroom fun aged 29 – placed the plea for passion after running up a mountain of debts.

And after setting a price tag of £700 (about Sh98,000 at the current exchange rate) on the chance to lose his V-plates, he was left shocked when the advert didn't prompt a single taker.

Broke Seb, from Brasov, Romania, wrote in the advert: "Man, 29, Brasov. Athletic and toned, dark haired. I'm selling my virginity. Price: 850 Euros. Transport not included."

But weeks after placing the advert, baffled Seb has not had even one response from a potential bedfellow.

He said: "I don't understand it. I'm a good looking guy with a good physique. I thought someone might even offer me more.

"I'm healthy, I'm no Brad Pitt but I'm not ugly either. I forgot to specify male or female in the ad and I didn't even get any gay takers.

"It doesn't do much for your self-esteem to be rejected by absolutely everybody in the world."

Seb took out the ad to pay off debts he has run up through unemployment and having to care for his diabetic brother.

He added: "I've worked hard in the fields and in farms all my life. It's tough work but it has given me a great body. I thought people would be keen to try it out."

In March of last year, a student who called herself 'Elizabeth Raine' posed in lingerie online and offered to have sex for the first time with the highest bidder.

The slim blonde said she hoped to make £250,000 but warned "love is not part of the arrangement".

But later that year - as bids reached £520,000 – she revealed she wanted to "stop this kerfuffle" in order to focus on her medical training.
