Cold calling: mysterious fridge appears in phone box

A fly-tipper has been accused of 'cold calling' after a fridge was found dumped - in a PHONE BOX. The bizarre appearance on a high street in Ealing, West London, was reported to the council on Twitter when local Lawrence Dawson spotted the kitchen appliance.

There was some debate over whether BT or Ealing Council were responsible for removing the rogue appliance, however the council eventually agreed to take it away.

The great Ealing Fridge Mystery of November 2014 rumbles on, as a council spokeswoman told our sister site Get West London that the culprit has not been found.

She said: “The fridge was empty so we won’t be able to trace who put it there.”

Who do you think put the fridge in the phonebox?

    A sneaky fly tipper

    Probably bored students

    A disgruntled former BT employee

    It was me!
