Senator Charles Keter attacks NIS for 'biased reporting'

KERICHO COUNTY: Kericho Senator Charles Keter has taken issue with National Intelligence Service (NIS) officers in the county for what he termed biased reporting.

Speaking during a fundraiser for local artistes in Kericho town, the senator, who was accompanied by his Bomet counterpart Wilfred Lesan, said as one of the senior members of the Jubilee government, he has access to intelligence reports and doesn't take the contents kindly.

"We want to tell NIS officers in Kericho County to stop writing false intelligence reports and stick to their true mandate," Mr Keter said.

The Kericho senator also urged local residents to practise political tolerance.
