Its the responsibility of each parent to take care of their children, adopted or biological. You cannot go around breeding babies and expect that someone will step in and take care. Be proud of your children Shitanda. Your children are 8 years old now and for sure they know who they wonna live with. You had good times then now its time to step up. Children rights are human rights too!

I do not think Shitanda is alone. Many others have persistantly denied many of their children from many concubines around East Africa their basic necessity. Some of them learn at the mercy of the public who sometimes pay fees for them. May be because they mainly go to illiterate concubines.

Peter, leave tribalism out of this. Who told you Shitanda is a Maragoli ? This lady may or may not be a gold digger. What she's is asking for is rediculously high. That said, Kenyan MPs earn millions per month. He sure as hell can afford what she's asking for. Plus a good lesson learnt! Go get 'em lady!

Let me hope what there is in this suit is less than what many would assume. That a cabinet minister "honourable" is being cast as a person who slept left and right and is now evading responsibilty to bring up his kids. MPs are robbing us of tax coins. Let them not rob us of cultural integrity. Out of his overpay this man can afford a decent life for this twins without this maligning publicity.

I apploud Shitanda for taking some responsibility of the children. My self i have one in MSA and i take full responsibility. Shitanda should know that legally 35% of his gross income should go to support those kids untill they turn 21 yrs old. He is ucky because the mother is only asking 10% of his salary instead of 35%. Please solve this matter out of court other wise you are going to lose more.

Shitanda is right,he should be given the full custody of the minors.I find the money the woman is asking rather funny, because even a Kenyan doctor can not earn such amount.
