On a lighter note, why are the guys in the photo having their safety goggles on their foreheads? If they thnk they might get swine flu through their eyes, then they should use them goggles properly or is it that somebody never told the what they are for? Its just funny hahaha. Its like rushing to fight fire with an empty fire truck. Style up.

I am looking at the picture accompanying this story and I now understand why Swine flu would spread like a wild fire. Why are the medical staff attending to the passenger not wearing gloves or the safety glasses dangling from their faces? Kenyans are indeed ignorant when it comes to safety issues.

Its high time the govt learnt how to protect its people. Given that visitors are screened at the airport before they are allowed in how comes the said boy found his way in or is the screening made to take the number of visitors bringing H1N1 virus to Kenya?

My fellow Kenyans please do not panic. Be positive like our health minister Mrs Beth Mugo. Swine flue has no birth certificate like you and me and therefore cannot have a citizenship in our great nation Kenya. Let all the Kenyan men and women of faith open their mouth and declare: " No weapon forged against our nation that will prosper." We therefore condemn swine flue in Jesus' name. AMEN!

H1N1 in Kenya! Is it amazing? No, it shouldn't. Kenya is part of the global village? If a woman screams in the neighboring village in the wee hours for the night every villager has to be affected by the scream and so is the crime, diseases and the climatic changes! Take precautions to limit its effects. Be watchful.

First they came as slave merchants, then as colonialists and later as neo-colonialists which still they are, but now they have come with a more devastating misfortune, the swineflu. They actually are real swines and if unchecked they will destroy the entire human life especially in Africa.

Kenya’s economy is on the road to recovery

Kenya’s economy is on a positive growth trajectory. That is the judgment from leading fund management firms, investment banks, economists and the World Bank. Although the estimated GDP growth of between 3-4 per cent is still below the country’s potential, when benchmarked against competing economies in East Africa, the economy is expected to make a strong recovery this year.
