| I don't think magnetic fields affect radio waves as Judy suggested. If it were so then whole equipment would be a failed invention, since as Judy stated all current conductors produce magnetic fields which would in effect affect the phone if her postulate was correct. As for the battery, I doubt the magnetic phone lock would pose any grave treat to your battery as mentioned by Judy.
