Brief:Many residents of agriculturally rich Central Province have relied on relief food in recent months due to erratic rainfall in parts of the region.
In places where relief food had never been offered, it has become the norm with hundreds of residents, especially in the vast Kieni Division of Nyeri District.

| I think the media and the Govt ignored me when I said all colonial dams, ponds and boreholes to be de-silted using the CDF kitty but nothing has been done. We should know that the proponent of CDF was to give people closer services like health facilities, water and sanitation. I came from Nyandarua and when I was young I was difficult for grown ups to cross Rivers. Now there is none of the rivers
