The experience of having Bantu Mwaura as a literature teacher when I was a student at Loreto Limuru in the nineties is one that I shall forever draw meaningful lessons from. Bantu nurtured positive and critical thinking in us at an early age... May he rest in peace.

Those who killed Mr Bantu missed the point, the world is ruled by dead people, Lincon, JM, Tom Mboya still influence our thoughts even in their graves.

Bantu Mwaura represents the finest of Kenyan artists, activists, thespians and poets, and the criminals who cruelly robbed us of this beautiful man must be apprehended and justice done. Bantu stood for truth, justice, true democracy, creative expression and liberty. I am stunned that anyone would wish to hurt so vibrant and generous a Kenyan man. Let his passing not be in vain.

something strange is going on, there is someone who is killing young kikuyu men, the question we need to ask is who stands to gain, because the result of this killing will result in the kikuyu youth turning against the establishment, one thing is certain kibaki can only lose in this, there are two groups who would gain from this, odm kenya and the police force, am not accusing anybody

Bantu Mwaura was my lecturer at the University of Nairobi. He was an intelligent, creative and brave Kenyan who was never afraid to speak out his mind. Its a pity that somebody chose to end his life in cold blood. How will Kenya ever develop if we continue to kill such bright people in our midst who can help propel this country from the quagmire of poverty, insignificance and oblivion. Rest in peace.

Am really disturbed by what is slowly but surely becoming a trend in Kenya. It's high time the authorities got to the bottom of this, and fast, failure to which 'guns for hire' will become more and more confident and no one will be safe, not even politicians- am reminded of the cases of Ouko, JM and Tom Mboya. Let us not go back to those dark days.

The question is Who else is this illegitimate regime going to murder - If Kibaki does not care his tribesmen being slaughtered - will he give a blink to see an activist dead?

Such cruel loss of life is uncalled for it now feels better to live abroad. Why are we losing our budding youth in the hands of murderers. As much as we love our country, People are investing so much in their children's education only to lose it in blink of an eye. Who is responsible for these deaths? James Mbugua Mwaura, Oscar King'ara and now Bantu, my condolences to his family. RIP Bantu.

This is tragic news. Here was a harmless man who was committed to bringing change in a non partisan and peace way - via theatre. I saw him on KTN just the other day. It's so sad to lose such a friend. The whole thing smells rat. Missing and then found dead outside his gate. I scream Murder. Someone has to get to the root of this. Very fast. Where are we headed as a nation? where?
