  The real factor working against widespread use of mobile phones leave alone Value Added Services are the exorbitant prices charged in Kenya and an infrastructure too small for the number of subscribers. May be mobile companies can first make sure the few subscribers they have can make and receive calls without encountering capacity problems before complaining about value added services.
