Brief:Three Cabinet ministers have urged President Kibaki to reconvene Parliament next month.
Mr Musalia Mudavadi (Local Government), Mr James Orengo (Lands) and Mr Otieno Kajwang’ (Immigration) said Kibaki should convene Parliament so that MPs can tackle constitutional reforms. The House is currently on a three-month recess. ...more

| We would like to know what the MPs are doing for 3 months while earning a salary. This long absence should be accounted for. A roll-call should be instituted for MPs. If they are not in parliament, their constituents should be able to verify that they where at their local communities. No other civil servant leaves the office with full pay without anyone knowing what they are up to.
