This thing called tribalism came and changed the way we think and run our private lives. It is a sad day for all Kenyans whichever place or positions they hold that the ethnic cancer is big. Perhaps Kivuitu and his team never knew how how delicate the country has evolved over the years.Kenyans should run the ECK but those assigned the task should know that ethnicity is deadly and kills like AIDS.

Though politicians are celebrating disolution of ECK,ordinary mwananchi has nothing to gain as life has become more harder than the last 6 years.Politicians should spend their energy on issues affecting the majority of Kenyans.Loss of 600 jobs by ECK employees,Unga selling at 120/- shortage of fuel, high fares,IDP languishing in camps, shares losing value at NSE,high electricity bills etc.long list.

The country is bigger than Samuel Kivuitu, President Daniel Moi used to call it Kenya Inchi yangu but to day he knows it has outlived him and so did the Kalenjin. So will it outlive Mwai Kibaki and Raila Odinga, today was Kivuitu's day to go. Long live Kenya long live our mother land.

Going by what happened early this year with the general elections in Kenya, I submit that Kenyan ECK officials will always side with their tribes and be manipulated by the Executive branch of government. The only way out is for the ECK to be made up of NON-KENYANS. For if it was not for them, Kenyans would still be butchering each other even now !!
