| I believe women who did that mistake of marrying poor men, if the clock was to be rewound and life starts again, they will run for their lives at the knocking of a poor man. Poverty in the family hits hard on women and children. Some men sometimes ran away from reality and spend most of their day out.Sneak in when the children are a sleep. Hardwork eliminates poverty. A lazy man dies poor!!.

| Gold diggers are all over the world & Kenya is no different - Where there is good, there´s also bad, where there are decent women, there are indecent ones, & this is a fact no matter where you go.

| I think this report is totally unfair and shows a clear gender problem. Were the men also intervieded so that they could see the other side of the story? As a gender specialist, I think that such reports with such title is not encouraging and undermines the status of women.

| Such generalizations are dangerous and obviously biased and negative. Opinion polls should be used for something useful... here is an idea, "how many Kenyans have access to clean water? How many kenyans feel that the current government represents them". This is an embarassment and a waste of time and resources. Next time donate the money to charity.

| Those interviewed were just expressing their wishes. Normally what you want is not what you get. In many ocassions people are forced to marry by circumstances. so the poor and ugly men should not worry so much. It will not be suprising to see the same gold diggers digging manure.

| That is the reason why Kenyan men are heading South to Tanzania to get love. The girls have become so money oriented. It's a open secret that the first thing these daring girls will ask you when you call her to hook up a date is "Si unisambazie" meaning top up my phone. Poor Kenyan men head to TZ and get a chic for your life.

| Very interesting study. And the findings...
My question to the researchers is - where did you sample your population from? Iassume mainly from the urban areas?
I wonder if the results hold true if you had sampled women and men from the rural areas. Use such samples from Gucha, Sotik, Kilinyaga, Sondu
I refer to these areas particularly in respect to so called "rich men Please include such.
