| It is time parties streamlined their houses so as to adhere to the new political parties bill. Again 2012 is way far ahead for politicians who call themselves leaders to talk about succession plans. They should try to address issues that affect the people they call common wananchi.

| ALL I can say is Moi was right that multiparysim will bring tribalism. I think that part of the prophecy has come to light. Just look at all the parties and realize that every tribe has a party, even then they are still fragmenting into regional parties. I think the BEST answer is MAJIMBO.

| Politics is nothing but selfish interest. In Kenya people join political parties not because they are committed to the parties ideologies but for the sake of selfish interest and political survival. All these commotions we are witnessing in our "political parties", though they are not fit to be called political parties but "self-interest groupings", is nothing but strategies for political survival. Even those pushing for the formation of the so called "grand opposition" are not doing so out of sincere concern for this nation but for their own selfish interests. Don't be surprised that even after the formation of that so called grand opposition, dissenting voices will be heard out of this grouping. This nonsense about being "like-minded people" do not exist in Kenyan politics. I am yet to see a sincere patriotic politician in this great country.

| I strong support Martha Karua on the issue of party affiliation. One should not belong to more than one party at the same time. This is what has weakened Democracy in Kenya because self seekers sit on the fence and jump on whichever side they think will over them good opportunity. It is high time the Justice Minister uses her office to put things straight. Those who are talking of "Embracing Modern Democracy" through jumping by joining another party while they still belong to the other are the true enemies of Kenya. They are more concerned about their stomachs at the expense of the country's future.
I have now come to understand the Justice Minister, especially after taking a bold stand on this issue. She should move on to contest the Presidency so that we can see who is more popular among the people. The issue of gender is for another day.
