Kenya has had opposition politics for a long time and the mothers pf opposition were KPU,KADU in the new era it was FORD and DP.all have been in the opposition. The only good thing is that it has been confrontational. Without the people's support having the opposition will just be constitutional. I wished Ababu Namwamba were fighting for a new constitution. Fronting for Opposition in Budalang'i does not really change the lives of Budalang'is by an inch No matter what. Wakholi and Ababu might be working for Ford Kenya and same time fighting the supremacy of Mudavadi in Western.

Allow the formation of a grand opposition, but amend the bill make those who want to be in the opposition have to leave the party or parties in government. If these MPs are as popular as they think, they should have no trouble retaining their seats in a by-election. Without a Coalition Government, the second strongest party would lead the opposition. These MPs can't have it both ways and that needs to be made clear. Refusing to have the bill debated is a step backwards from the achievements that the country has made towards public accountability. Checks and balances are necessary and no one can be the accused, the judge and the prosecutor if justice is expected.
