This country is setting a very dangerous precedent. It is true that Kimunya faltered in the transaction but the manner in which he was forced out of office is both dangerous and "primitive". Apparently, almost the entire Cabinet was aware of the "deal" including the President and the Prime Minister's own admission to parliament. Kimunya was merely a sacrificial lamb and everything had to be done, including his hurried exit, in order to "protect" those above. The vigour with which our MPs carried the censure motion against the minister was sinister and ill motivated. But there is still chance to reverse this trend. Let the truth be told as it is and those involved, at whatever level, should also resign. Kimunyas only crime was his "arrogance and chest thumping".
