The giant teachers union will this morning unveil facilities in a school it has put up to help orphans and vulnerable children.
Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) first vice-chairman Wilson Sossion said the new administration block and classrooms have been put up in honour of its former chairman, the late John Katumanga. Currently, the school, Koibeiyon Secondary School in Bomet has 102 needy students.
Chairman George Wesonga and Bomet MP Beatrice Kones are among guests expected at today’s function.
"This is a model day school that shows Knut is at the forefront to deliver education to the less fortunate students," said Mr Sossion.
