A teacher died after he allegedly took poison hours after supervising KCSE exams in Taita District.
Provincial Administration officials and villagers linked the death to a family dispute.
The Malela Primary School teacher had been supervising exams at Canon Kituri Secondary School in Wundanyi Division. He died at Wesu District Hospital.
Area chief Rashid Maghanga said the teacher is suspected to have taken a farm chemical.
Meanwhile, a KCSE candidate at Morau Secondary School in Kipkelion District died at Kericho District Hospital. Medical superintendent Betty Langat said the girl was diagnosed with abnormal high blood pressure.
