Mungiki leader Maina Njenga will be baptised on November 29.
Bishop Margaret Wanjiru of Jesus Is Alive Ministries said Mr Njenga had converted to Christianity and would be baptised.
She added the event would be a turning point for youths in Central Province.
Njenga, however, did not turn up on Sunday at the church for the Sunday service as was expected.
Njenga has, since his release from prison, denounced the sect and its activities, asking his followers to follow suit.
Wanjiru said she expects thousands of youths to be baptised alongside Njenga. She said Njenga was currently taking Bible studies in preparation for baptism.
