Ulinzi Stars registered their 15th draw of the season after failing to win at home against Nairobi City Stars.

Both teams drew 0-0 in the first leg played on April 18 in Nairobi’s Hope Centre.

Saturday’s draw left Ulinzi coach Sammy Simiyu a frustrated man, going into the last match of the Premier League on November 21.

He said: "We played well and created so many chances, but we just can’t score. It is very frustrating. The numbers of draws we have had this season have killed our dreams for the title."

Simiyu, a former international, said his lead strikers do everything but score and must find a formula to reverse the trend next season.

Prior to Saturday’s draw, Ulinzi had drawn their last two fixtures. Last weekend, they drew 1-1 with Mathare United at home and, a week earlier, had registered a similar result away to Western Stima.

Ulinzi remain in seventh position in the standings with 39 points.

Bandari increased their chances of surviving in the Premier League after they squeezed a deserved 1-0 win over Sher Karuturi at the Mombasa Municipal Stadium.

Bandari started the match by mounting pressure on their opponents forcing several unfruitful corners in the first 30 minutes.

But in the second half both teams came back strongly and Sher Karuturi took control with Fredrick Owira and Jacob Omondi terrorising Bandari’s defence.

Meanwhile, Chemelil Sugar’s encounter against relegation threatened Agro-Chemical aborted due to lack of security leaving scores of fans enraged and crestfallen.

Agro-Chemical organising secretary Norbert Wanjala told Feverpitch the match was abandoned due to lack of security . This was the second time in a row that Chemelil Sugar who were hosting Agro-Chemical at Further stadium saw their fixture abort due to lack of .
