Organisations advocating for behaviour change in universities have been asked to target academic and non-teaching staff in their campaigns against HIV/Aids.
A health expert noted awareness among staff is low, making them a risk group.
Maseno University Health Services chairman Vitalis Ouko said: "This is a war we have to fight together. The level of awareness among students has shot drastically while the staff remain uninformed."
He was speaking at Maseno University during the commissioning of 100 student peer educators under the ‘I choose Life Africa’ initiative.
