Central Organisation of Trade Unions (Cotu) Secretary-General Francis Atwoli says workers’ push for reforms is unstoppable.
He said workers would pressure the Government to enact a new Constitution, since it had emerged some powerful individuals were "dilly dallying" and time was running out.
"Cotu and its affiliate unions have resolved not to let the Government get away with the issue of reforms this time round. We want to end impunity," he said.
Mr Atwoli said they had lined up several rallies countrywide with the second one being in Machakos tomorrow.
He vowed the workers body would keep the Government on its toes.
"It seems some people in Government want to buy time for their own selfish interest. We will not allow anybody to joke with the lives of Kenyans," he told The Standard.
He also dismissed the alleged Post and Courier Workers Union, saying it is an imposter, since it is not a registered trade union and does not represent any workforce in Kenya.
