Father in court for impregnating his daughter

A father has been arraigned in a Bomet court for defiling and impregnating his 15-year-old daughter.Wilson Tele committed the offences at Chepkosa, Bomet Central Division on January 22.Tele denied the charge before Principal Magistrate Timothy Okello.

The girl’s mother had noted her increasingly bulging belly and questioned her. A medical test confirmed that the secondary school student was expectant.

The man, who has been married for 17 years, was released on a Sh200,000 bond and a surety of a similar amount.The case will be heard on December 29.
