Was it his comments that got on Ian’s nerves or his poor performance that saw Christian get shown the door at Tusker Project Fame (TPF3) last Saturday? His ‘lover’, bootylicious Illuminata followed shortly after.
One week prior to double eviction, Christian rudely responded to judge Ian with an "it doesn’t matter" statement when warned of his poor performance. The French-speaking housemate however, later said that he had not meant to be rude and that he just had some difficulty expressing himself in English.
Worse so, his romance with Illuminata did not work in his favour.
It was obvious that Illuminata’s eviction was long overdue after being on probation a couple of times.
And with less than three weeks to go before the winner of TPF3 is unveiled, battle lines now seem clearly drawn. The Kenyan contestants look well on course. Apart from Nganga who has been put on probation this week alongside Alpha and Karolyne, the other Kenyans are faring well.
There are two reasons for Nganga’s possible eviction tomorrow. One, Besides Uganda’s Leah who together with Kenya’s Patricia have remained untouched so far, only Alpha and Karolyne are the other remaining survivors outside Kenya.
To try to avoid an all Kenyans finals scenario in order to justify that this is indeed a regional competition, Nganga may just be thesacrificial lamb. After all, he remains the weakest Kenyan in the show. Kenyans might save Derbarl as Alpha is still a strong contender. That explains the reason he was saved by the faculty on Saturday only to be back on probation on Sunday night.
The four finalists will most likely be from Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. In this case, I would name Patricia, Alpha, Debarl and Leah. And as it stands, I can further bet, Patricia will carry the day. Now, that is just my prediction.
Meanwhile, the question of fairness is being raised after Tanzania contestants failed to make it to the finals for the third year running. And now that a Kenyan or Ugandan win seems so inevitable, is it time for the organisers to review the rules of the game since Rwandese are French-speaking and Tanzanians more inclined to Swahili?
