Manchester City in fight with Real Madrid for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Manchester City were in talks with Bundesliga’s Borussia Dortmund for Aubameyang in June but failed to get their man as they couldn’t go beyond the £65million fee.

Despite Real Madrid being slapped with a transfer embargo preventing any player movement over the next two windows, the La Liga giants have made the current African player of the year their top priority.

According to The Sun, Aubameyang is the most wanted forward in Europe. The French-born Gabonese professional footballer bagged 36 goals in 45 appearances last season.
