An orphaned girl who attained 391 marks in last year's KCPE has opted to be a house-help after failing to raise school fees.

Scovia Auma Ochola (above) received an admission letter from Moi Tea girl's Kericho but lack of fees threatens her dreams.

Auma is optimistic that someone will employ her and give her a "decent salary" which she will in turn save and join secondary school later in life.

She has been staying with her grandparents in Nyakwaka village, Funyula since her mother died in 2009.
