Eden Hazard: I want to stay at Chelsea for another decade

Chelsea star Eden Hazard wants to stay at Stamford Bridge for another 10 years.

The PFA player of the year helped the Blues wrestle back the title for the first time since 2010.

Hazard's exploits saw him pick up a string of personal accolades, while his performances have also attracted the attention of some of Europe's top clubs.

The Belgian international is already tied to the west Londoners until 2020, with the Blues keen on keeping him at Stamford Bridge even longer.

“Why change? If you’re happy and things are going really well at one place, there is no need to change," said Hazard.

“Obviously, these things don’t just depend on me but whenever you’re enjoying your football and having the chance to win trophies, it would be silly to change.”

The 24-year-old was the most fouled player in the top-flight this campaign, but Hazard insists he likes the rough and tumble of English football.

He told the Evening Standard: “Over here people like a scrap, like a battle. I will just keep playing the way I do. I will try and entertain the fans, create assists, score goals and concentrate on that regardless. I can still take the hits, it’s not a problem for me. I accept the blows. I can take the punches like a boxer.”
