Man Utd target Alves doesn’t feel wanted at Barcelona- fueling exit speculation

Dani Alves has put to bed any talk about his future until after the Champions League final.

Alves' Barcelona side will face Juventus in Berlin a week on Saturday, and he as said he will not discuss what might happen in the summer until the game is concluded.

It was reported last month that he would still prefer to remain at Barcelona, but wants a three-year extension to his current deal which expires in the summer.

He continues to be linked with a move to Manchester United, with the Red Devils also reportedly interested in Southampton full-back Nathaniel Clyne and Dutch defender Gregory van der Wiel.

Alves spoke to the press ahead of the European final, and said his thoughts are fully focused on the game.

He said: "It is a reward to be playing another final, we know how difficult it is to get there. "We have to be very careful with Juventus. We know it’ll be a tough game, worthy of a final.

"We have too much at stake for me to be thinking about my future. Out of respect, I’m only thinking about the finals. From June 7 I’ll announce my future. Now, the future is about playing in two finals.

"My intention was not to speak, but I haven’t been respected with a lot of silly things. It’s gone too far. While I’m in this squad, I’ll be doing my little bit to help achieve our targets."

"I don’t want anybody to influence my decisions. My future only depends on me."
