Real Madrid offer Keylor Navas to Manchester United as part of De Gea deal

Real to offer Keylor  as part of De Gea deal

Real Madrid have reportedly offered Manchester United their No.2 goalkeeper as part of the David De Gea deal.

Costa Rica World Cup hero Keylor Navas has struggled to break into the Madrid line-up ahead of Iker Casillas next season and could try and revive his career with a move to Old Trafford.

The Sunday Express report that Navas will be included in any offer for De Gea, in a bid to tempt United into selling their player of the season this summer.

De Gea has been heavily linked with a summer switch to the Bernabeu and is expected to be the long-term successor to the under-fire Casillas.

Spanish No.1 De Gea reportedly wants a move back to the Spanish capital and has been stalling on a new contract at United.

Real Madrid bosses will meet with super agent Jorge Mendes in the coming week, with De Gea being the primary subject of the meeting.

The Spanish giants intend to move quickly to land the Manchester United keeper following the end of the season and want Mendes to broker the deal.

News that football’s top mover and shaker has been summoned to the Bernabeu will set the alarm bells ringing at Old Trafford.

United don’t want to lose De Gea, but the 24-year-old is about to enter the final 12 months of his contract and has shown no sign of signing a new £200,000-a-week deal.

And De Gea might have played his final game for United, after picking up a back injury which forced him to be substituted off during last weekend's 1-1 draw with Arsenal at Old Trafford.

It is unclear whether Louis van Gaal will opt for a risky De Gea or the fully-fit Victor Valdes for the season finale away at Hull.
