China: They say money doesn't grow on trees, but in one man's model city everything from the buildings to the waterways are made entirely of cash.

He Peixi used more than 50,000 coins - a mixture of ancient and contemporary units of currency - to construct a model version of his home city, Chingqing in China.

The intricate installation was a full month in the making as Peixi, 32, spent up to two hours a day stacking up coins one-by-one to replicate local landmarks.

He used silver and gold coins to construct buildings, some tall and others short.

The same method was used to construct the city's bridges.

When it came to creating the Yangtze River and the Jialing River - the two waterways that run through the city - he used red and green agates.

And as far as use of money goes, it certainly makes a nice change.
