Brazil: A Miss BumBum beauty has vowed to cover up her famous rump after turning to God.

Andressa Urach, 27, has ditched wearing lingerie and bikinis in saucy snaps after she nearly died from an infection caused by filler injections which were meant to boost her bottom.

The blonde stunner, who was runner-up in Brazil's famous competition three years ago, decided to throw out her SIX wardrobes worth of revealing outfits after joining a church.

According to The Sun newspaper, Andressa, from Porto Alegre, Brazil, said: "I believe completely that faith saved my life and it has changed my view about everything.

"It's not what you write or say that makes the difference with God, but how you choose to live your life."

Miss Urach claims faith saved her after her brush with death when doctors told her she could have lost her legs during months in intensive care.

The gorgeous model was rushed to hospital in septic shock last November after injecting her thighs with hydrogel and a plastic called PMMA, using 10 times the amount allowed.

She previously admitted she had an obsession with cosmetic surgery and had undergone almost a dozen operations to 'improve' her body.

"I've had more than 10 surgeries," she told CNN. "My nose, my cheekbones, my jaw. I injected my lips numerous times, changed my breasts twice and did liposuction two times."

"I had plastic surgery like going to the supermarket.

"I wanted to take out ribs to have a slimmer waist. I wanted to cut off my toes to wear smaller shoes."

After the bad publicity surrounding hydrogel and Andressa's story, authorities refused to renew the license for it to be used in Brazil.
