NAIROBI; Kenya: Homeboyz RFC winger Leonard Mugaisi has been recalled to the national sevens team for next month’s (February) fourth and fifth rounds of the 2014/15 HSBC Sevens World Series in Wellington.
Mugaisi was handed his maiden call up in November 2013 by former head coach Paul Treu for the Dubai series, but had been excluded from the Felix Ocheing’s 12-man squad named on Tuesday.
However, he is now back in the fold and is expected to give Ochieng’ more options as Shujaa seeks to bounce back from their dismal display in the first quarter of the series in Australian, Dubai and Port Elizabeth.
The Andrew Amonde captained team departs for Wellington on Saturday 31 January.
