Poop hit the fan at Chwele hospital, Bungoma County last week when a middle aged man who had been rushed to the health facility, complaining of stomach ache defecated a frog, causing medics to scamper for safety.

The bizarre incident brought business at the busy health facility to a standstill minutes after word went round, attracting a mammoth crowd of curious Wananchi eager to witness the off the wall incident firsthand.

Job Kuloba, a relatives to the ailing man, in an exclusive interview with Crazy Monday, said he had rushed the man identified as Cyrus Sichangi at the hospital after he developed stomach complications.

Cyrus Sichangi who hails from Sikusi village in Bungoma Central Sub County is alleged to have been bewitched and developed serious stomachache before he was rushed to hospital for medical attention.

Puzzled medics could not initially wrap their minds around the fact that the patient had actually excreted the creature, until reports emerged that it was a suspected case of witchcraft.

A nurse who was treating the patient refused to divulge more information on the incident to Crazy Monday, referring reporters to his senior who also declined to comment, saying he is not authorized to talk to media.

Residents alleged that a powerful witchdoctor from Uganda had cast a deadly spell on Sichangi after he was suspected of stealing a sheep from his neighbour who hails from the neigbouring country.

Business remained standstill at the health facility as curious locals pitched tent at the gate of the hospital, discussing the incident in hushed tones.

Word has it that the patient has since been discharged and taken to Uganda to consult an equally powerful witchdoctor to cleanse Sichangi.
