AFC Leopards fans went on the rampage, causing the abandonment of their GOtv shield semi-final match against Sofapaka at City Stadium on Monday after conceding a second goal.

The fans started throwing stones into the pitch before attacking centre referee Davies Omweno after Antony Ndolo had scored the second goal for Sofapaka in the 87th minute. This is not the first time AFC Leopards are showing the ugly scenes of hooliganism.

Sofapaka's first goal was scored by Enock Agwanda in the 30th minute. As expected, they will be awarded this match and play Posta Rangers in the final. Rangers edged out West Sugar in the other semi-final after winning 10-9 on post-match penalties.

Leopards showed the first intention to go ahead when Bernard Mangoli was denied by Eugine Asike who stopped his goal bound shot for the first corner of the match.
Two minutes later, Austin Ikena could not beat David Okello in goal with a long shot which the Sofapaka goalkeeper easily dealt with.

On the other side of the pitch, Enock Agwanda proved to be a major problem for the Leopards backline.

In the tenth minute, his powerful shot was intercepted by Patrick Matasi in goal and it was the first serious intention by the Harambee Stars forward to get his name on the score sheet.

It was an effort that inspired him to continue fighting for the opener as five minutes later he forced a clearance from the Leopards backline.
Leopards were to pay for sloppy defending when Antony Ndolo placed a long low shot between two defenders picking out the speedy Agwanda who tapped home.

Bernard Mangoli nearly equalised for Leopards almost after that but was denied by David Okello who stretched to keep the ball out for a fruitless corner allowing Sofapaka to go the break with a slight advantage.

When the match resumed, Sofapaka should have got a goal had Fiston Razak got more power behind his shot which did not give Matasi any trouble.
Leopards then got a free kick near their opponent's goal but Bernard Mangoli shot straight at the goalkeeper.
Sofapaka then rested Fiston Razak for Anthony Kimani while Leopards brought in Mike Khamati for Bernard Mangoli while Jacob Keli came on for Noah Wafula.

The substitutions by Leopards worked perfectly and Keli was denied twice. However, it was Austin Ikenna's header in the 65th minute that should have counted but Okello in goal came out to deny Leopards an equaliser.
Towering Joseph Shikokoti and Clifftone Miheso were both booked during the match for dangerous play.
