Wiper MP asks Kalonzo Musyoka to retire from national politics

Machakos Kenya: Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been urged to retire from active politics and make way for somebody else to take the community to greater heights of prosperity and unity.

Machakos Town MP Victor Munyaka said the time had come for the former Vice President to reciprocate what the community had done for him over 30 years and relinquish leadership to somebody who could attract mass support from other communities.

“Since the community has voted for him to be part of the country’s top leadership three times in vain, he should honourably leave the opportunity for someone else to try their luck an take the community to the top of country’s leadership”, said Dr Munyaka.

Addressing a public rally in Mutituni market, the MP said the former VP should hand over his political leadership to a younger and more focused leader.

Munyaka took issue with the former VP for failing to unite the community’s leadership.
