Maserati and Lamborghini bringing the gospel in Papa Dennis' new multi-million video!

It’s all Lamborghinis and Maseratis in the new Injili video by flamboyant upcoming gospel artist Papa Dennis!

The highly anticipated video which had already caused controversy was dropped yesterday to the shock, delight and confusion of some fans.

The Main Switch production which was shot in South Africa features high end luxury cars and very stunning real estate. The video is estimated to have cost Sh2.8 million.

While the production really is flawless, the only thing that screams gospel about this video is the title and the nameplate on the Maserati.

This is not the first time Papa Dennis has come under fire over his videos. Earlier this year, he in partnership with Jimmy Gait dropped the ‘Makekes’ video which did not sit well with many. To some Kenyans, the video had a secular concept despite the lyrics of the song.

The flashy aspect was not missed with a Bentley sitting pretty all through the video while the ladies dressed in red kept the duo company as they sang of the good Lord’s blessings.

Papa Dennis is not one to mince his words and through his management told his fellow artists that they will go to hell for their hypocrisy.

Gospel artist Ringtone called out Papa Dennis for his flashy video to which Papa’s management gave him a mock invite to feature in the video.

“Accusing Papa Dennis for shooting expensive videos in South Africa and United States where he is going next will not stop us from making Papa Dennis the international artiste we want to package him in to. We think Ringtone is simply scared that once the new video is out, Papa Dennis will overshadow him and in this case, we are welcoming him to apply to work with him, even as a back-up artiste," Maureen Obare who manages Papa Dennis under Sadat Muhindi's Maliza Umaskini charity project said.

The Maliza Umaskini charity project is owned by flamboyant entrepreneur Sadat Muhindi who set up a showbiz stable in South Africa. This stable manages Papa Dennis, Jimmy Gait, Ray C and Tierra G.
