Kim Kardashian hits out at brother's ex Adrianne Bailon after claims he hurt her career

We wouldn't want to mess with the Kardashians, there are a lot of them for a start. But it seems Adrienne Bailon doesn't care if she angers the famous family.

The Cheetah Girls singer, who dated Robert Kardashian, has got on the wrong side of his 33-year-old sister Kim after calling her brother "disloyal" and saying being associated with the Kardashians hurt her career.

Adrienne pointed out that Rob wasn’t innocent, telling Latina magazine: "It's common knowledge that he cheated on me. It always bothered me that people were like, 'Pero, why couldn’t you forgive him?'

"Why are women always the ones who have to forgive? If you cheated on a man, he would be like, 'You're disgusting, and I want nothing to do with you.' But women, we're supposed to be like, 'He messed up. He made a mistake.'"

And Adrienne doesn't have any regrets about breaking up with the sock entrepreneur, saying: "In my situation, it wasn't like, 'Oh my God! I made a mistake!' He strategically planned things out so that he could cheat on me, and that to me was so disloyal."

However, she admits she DOES regret appearing on earlier seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, in which Rob was trying to win her back, and claims it "hurt" her career. OUCH. There's really no stopping this girl.

She said: "To be stuck with that Kardashian label, that was so hurtful to me and to my career. I probably realised that too late – not that it would've affected my decisions in terms of who I dated, but it would've affected my decision to appear on the show."

The star explained that she didn’t think "anyone would even care" that she was on the show or had dated Rob but is still getting grief.

She said: "To this day, people will still say, 'You ruined Rob's life!' and I'll think, 'Damn, I was still playing with Barbie dolls when I met him.'"

On the back of Adrienne's comments, Kim defended her brother and took to Twitter today to hit out at his ex, posting: "Funny how she says being with a Kardashian hurt her career yet the only reason she has this article is bc she is talking about a Kardashian."

She then added: "So sad when people try to kick my brother when he is down FamilyForever."

Rob, 27, and Adrienne, 30, dated for two years from 2007 and Kim isn't happy that his ex is lashing out at her brother as he is struggling with 'depression'.

His mum Kris Jenner recently opened up about his problems on the reality show and admits she cries herself to sleep every night over her son's rumoured problems.
