Gospel bigwigs hit the stage at Kabarak University campus tour

Kenya: Standard digital and System Unit this time round went to Kabarak University for the much anticipated campus tour event. Hundreds of students attended the event as the auditorium was filled to capacity by overzealous students.

 

The students also had their cultural night event where different cultures and talents were showcased. The students thronged traditional attires of the different communities both locally and internationally.

 

There was also the search for the Mr. and Miss Kabarak University which saw contestants dress their best to win the coveted title.

 

Big names in the gospel industry were in the house for the evening performance. Present at the event was DJ Mo, DJ Sadique, DJ Krowbar, Size 8, Bahati, DK, Pitson, Hope Kid, MOG among others. Size 8 brought the auditorium to their feet with her hit single ‘Mateke’ . Mama’s boy Bahati also proved to be a darling to many of the students as he performed ‘Barua’ to the excitement of the crowd.

 

The concert started at 7pm till 4am in the morning.

 

Campus tour targets to visit all campuses in Kenya to nurture student writers. University students are encouraged to write and get published at the Campus Vibe website. The students are given a platform to tell stories about their campuses and their surroundings.
