I have inured myself to the ups and downs in my life. The women have been, to say the least, a pain in the neck for me. But this time, this one time, I was not letting things go wrong.
With Annete squarely in control of the situation, I promised myself to mend my womanising ways and settle down. After all that I have been up to, there was that galling realisation that all the women were (or generally); all humans are the same barring any particular (the odd) peculiarities.
Familiarity breeds contempt. In relationships, it breeds comfort and security. I was determined to clutch at the second probability. I had known that this could explain how the most outwardly incompatible of souls lived together and why we wonder how they survive that long.
Debilitating sense

A man will stray, but the woman will take him back. The downside of this is that there is a debilitating sense of business as usual.
Their weaknesses pass unnoticed or do we just ignore them for the sake of inner peace? You are with them not because they are the best, but because both of you have made the best of a situation. Over time, we see each other as normal and tearing apart proves difficult.
In many relationships, they say, it is the man who strays. I don’t think that is true. It boils down to one thing, I am also told. Women will plan to cheat and ensure a clinical execution.
That means the end is determined before they take the plunge complete with how to ready the numerous ifs. If he finds me, I will say... if he sees the 2am text, I will...
A while ago, Sam, my colleague at the office told me about a situation that befell him.
