Eldoret, Kenya: The final day of the self-proclaimed Prophet David Owuor’s mega thanksgiving prayer meeting in Eldoret hit a climax with political leaders submitting their lives to God.

Led by host MP Oscar Sudi who represents Kapsaret Constituency, the leaders yielded to the preaching and the miracles of the Prophet, asking Kenyans to humble themselves before God in order to have a real feeling of their life.

“I have never seen as big a crowd as this convening for a sole purpose of serving the Lord, I have seen miracles and there will be no grounds to say that there is no God,” he said.

Sudi who announced his rebirth in Christ and acknowledged the prophet as a real servant of God asked fellow national leaders to seek God and serve the people honestly and diligently.

“We have seen people from across the world gathering here to receive the word from the servant of God, we have the advantage of having somebody sent to heal the nations and we should support him,” he said.

The MP who condemned notorious preachers fond of fleecing poor Kenyans money so as to pray for them “kupanda mbegu”, called for revival of the church in Kenya.

Nandi County women representative Zipporah Kering who had joined Sudi in the prayer meeting revealed how they had discussed the matter of saving the nation and had agreed to set a good example to other leaders.

“We all know what our president’s prayer request is, it is time that all Kenyans irrespective of their walks of life to humble before God and help us overcome mysteries surrounding our security as a nation,” she said.

Turkana Central MP Missionary John Lodepe who said that he had come to support Sudi in taking the great leap of faith said that the nation needs to come before God, because he is the only one to solve the negative mysteries hitting the country.

“I saw a sick man from my County whom we thought could not live beyond today get healed and that shows why the nation needs to turn to Christ, for his powers alone can salvage us from hunger, insecurity and dishonesty,” he said.

Sunday, the Prophet healed Turkana County’s Chairperson of the Public Service Commission who was considerably paralysed, an occurrence Lodepe applauded, saying the time for the nation’s revival had come.

The MP asked the prophet to visit Turkana for prayer offering to cater for his flight ticket, despite his ability to cater for his logistics, with the belief that it will be a way of inviting blessings to the County that has been marginalised for long.

Caroline Chepkosgei, a Member of County Assembly (MCA) representing the youth called on the young generation to desist from earthly persuasions and prioritise Christ for satisfaction of their employment and development needs.

Uasin Gishu Deputy Governor Daniel Chemno who attended the meeting since Saturday said that together with some area leaders had met the Prophet in January and discussed a lot and was happy that he had brought revival to his home county.

The prophet’s mega meeting saw Eldoret town exposed to a new treat from mammoth crowds, long stagnant traffic jams, and followers’ matching across the town as well as the cleaning of the town streets with water before his arrival.
