Yaya Toure could be back in 10 days to boost Manchester City's title charge.

Toure injured his groin in Sunday's 3-2 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield and will miss City's next two home games against Sunderland tomorrow and West Brom on Easter Monday.

Boss Manuel Pellegrini says the midfielder's injury is not serious and that he could be back for the trip to Crystal Palace on April 27.

"Yaya has a muscle injury," said the Chilean. "We will see with the doctor how many days he will be out.

"Maybe it is not so bad. He needs at least 10 days or two weeks to recover."

Pellegrini claimed skipper Vincent Kompany, who has troubled with a knee problem before Sunday, will be fit to lead the side against Sunderland tomorrow.

He will also decide if Sergio Aguero will start after he made his comeback from his hamstring injury as a substitute at Anfield.

"Sergio is in the squad list and we will see tomorrow which 11 will start," said Pellegrini.
