Mrs Ojode, mother-in-law tussle over estate

Updated Wednesday, September 19th 2012 at 16:22 GMT +3

“It is the interest of the National Assembly to have the matter settled once and for all so that we can pay”, said Lawyer Sam Mwendwa representing the Clerk.

Ulda’s lawyer Charles Kanyangi said he needed 14 days to seek more information from his client who lives in Ndhiwa constituency.

The court, however, ruled that he should file his response within four days.

Ojode’s mother wants a share of her son’s estate saying there are other dependants of her late son other than his widow and wanted the interest of all be taken care of in the payment of compensation.
