Shock gripped an Administration Police ( AP) camp in Kandara district in Murang’a County after an officer was found dead in a toilet.
The incident occurred at Karima Mwaro AP camp located near Kandara town.
The officer, identified as Jackson Mwanzia was found dead by a colleague who moved to the toilet to establish why the deceased had taken long.
The deceased had gone to the toilet for a call of nature but overstayed in the toilet, prompting his colleague to inquire what had happened to him.
Central Administration Police Commandant Joseph Keitany confirmed the incident saying the body was moved to Murang’a District Hospital mortuary to await a post-mortem.
He said investigation will be carried to ascertain the cause of death.
