A homeless Brazilian couple that live under the bridges of Sao Paulo found a rubbish bag filled with £6,500 (Sh845, 000) on a sidewalk and promptly turned it in to the police Officials said the pair was out for a dawn stroll when they heard an alarm. They walked closer to see what was going on and stumbled on abrief case and a rubbish bag full of money.The pair alerted a nearby security guard, asking him to call the police.
STOLEN
According to the Brazilian police spokesman, the homeless pair âhad the opportunity to flee with the money, but they called a security guard and asked him to cal lthe military police. What they did is commendable âThe money was reportedly stolen from nearby Hokkai Sushi restaurant. The Brazilian media are now doting on the pair of homeless collectors of recyclable materials, Rejaniel de Jesus Silva Santo sand his partner Sandra Regina Domingues, who live near São Paulo underneath a bridge.âMy mother taught me that I should not steal,â Santos told local media. âThe first thing that came into my head was call the police.â
