Newly appointed Football Kenya Federation vice chairman Robert Asembo insists they have achieved most of their goals with nearly one year in office.

Giving an assessment of the federation’s achievements, Asembo said they have honoured all international fixtures in the senior, junior and women competitions.

“Our national team Harambee Stars beat Seychelles and Togo in a World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations qualifier respectively after  being in office for hardly one month,

“We also entered our women’s team in the World Cup and Continental qualifiers, something that had not been done in a while,” he said adding that all leagues are going on at different levels.

“We put in place a four tier league covering the county, district, provincial and division one categories and all of them are on-going and are very competitive. “Again this is a first one considering that most of the teams were not playing previously,” said Asembo.

He further pointed out the two international friendly matches that the national under-23 featured in early in the year as another milestone.
