Lee Clark set to be named new Birmingham City manager

Updated Tuesday, June 26th 2012 at 00:00 GMT +3

Birmingham City is close to confirming the appointment of Lee Clark as their new manager, BBC WM reports.

Clark, 39, is believed to have agreed to take the post after talks with the Championship club.

The former Newcastle player will replace Chris Hughton, who resigned earlier this month to take charge of Norwich.

Clark was sacked as manager of Huddersfield in February after more than three years in charge.
