An outrageous Kim Kardashian Lamborghini Aventador birthday gift to boyfriend Kanye West, offered over the weekend, puzzled the rapper so much that he now wants the socialite all for himself.
Reacting to the US TV reality star’s offer, a desperate Kanye asked Kardashian to speed up her divorce from estranged husband Kris Humphries — so that the two can get married.
According to media reports, Kardashian bought Kanye the luxury birthday gift worth Sh32 million in Los Angeles before filming a video of the car for West — who is currently on the Watch the Throne tour of the UK and Ireland with Jay-Z.
The couple went public with their relationship earlier in the year, after rumours of a romance sparked due to West’s song Way Too Cold.
“Kanye wants to marry Kim, and he is telling her to expedite the divorce so they can start their future. Kanye is like, ‘Just do whatever you need to do to make it go away’. Kim is starting to come around to Kanye’s way of thinking,” reported Showbizspy.
“As things get more and more intense and comfortable, both Kim and Kanye hate being apart and as they grow closer, Kanye’s desire to marry Kim and hers to be married to him keeps getting stronger,” another source said.
Kim was expected to fly to UK yesterday to join Kanye for the birthday weekend.
Humphries reportedly wants Kardashian to pay him about Sh70 million to settle their divorce.
Nairobi Queen’s party
The pomp and colour that has been ruling the United Kingdom — as the world celebrates Queen Elizabeth 11’s 60th Jubilee — will trickle into Nairobi, Kenya, where a series of celebration events have been lined up.
The British High Commission is set to kick off a three-day extravaganza starting Friday.
The ceremony will showcase a variety of entertainment masterpieces among them the British Military pageant as well as performances by singing groups and top musicians among others. Sources have it that the bonanza will culminate with a grand party on Sunday.
Similar cerebrations were held at Treetops Hotel in Aberdare National Park a week ago. The hotel is known as the location where Princess Elizabeth ascended to the throne of the United Kingdom upon the death of her father, George VI during a visit in 1952.
KRA closing in on stars
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is said to be targeting musicians through a new bill set to be tabled in Parliament.
